1About TheQuoteJet
TheQuoteJet is a licensed insurance referral service. We are not an insurance carrier, underwriter, or broker. We do not issue insurance policies, set premiums, or guarantee coverage. Our role is to collect information from consumers and match them with licensed, independent insurance agents and carriers who can provide quotes for auto, home, and related insurance products.
Any policy you purchase will be issued directly by the insurance carrier or broker you select. TheQuoteJet is compensated by our partner carriers and agents for referrals, but this does not influence the quotes or options presented to you.
2Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and a legal resident of the United States to use our Services. By submitting a quote request, you represent and warrant that all information you provide is accurate, complete, and truthful to the best of your knowledge.
Providing false or misleading information may result in denial of service, invalid quotes, or cancellation of any policy issued.
3Quote Request Process
When you submit a quote request:
- We share the information you provide with licensed agents and carriers in your area.
- You may receive phone calls, text messages, and emails from these partners to discuss quotes.
- You are under no obligation to purchase any policy or switch carriers.
- Quotes are preliminary estimates. Final rates are determined by the carrier after full underwriting review.
- We do not guarantee that you will receive quotes from any specific carrier or agent.
4TCPA Consent & Communications
By providing your phone number and submitting a quote request, you may expressly consent to receive marketing calls and text messages (including autodialed, pre-recorded, SMS, MMS, and IVR calls) from TheQuoteJet and our partner agents regarding insurance products and services.
Consent is not a condition of purchase. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text message. We honor opt-out requests within 10 business days.
5Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, and software — is the property of TheQuoteJet or its licensors and is protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may view, download, and print content for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or exploit any content without our prior written consent.
6Disclaimers
NO GUARANTEE OF SAVINGS OR COVERAGE. TheQuoteJet does not guarantee that you will save money, receive a lower rate, or obtain coverage. Savings amounts advertised (e.g., “up to $642/yr”) are based on average customer results and are not promises of your personal savings.
NOT INSURANCE ADVICE. Information on our website is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute professional insurance, legal, or financial advice. Always consult a licensed agent for advice tailored to your situation.
THIRD-PARTY ACTIONS. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, quotes, policies, or conduct of any third-party agent, broker, or carrier. Any dispute regarding a quote or policy must be directed to the issuing party.
7Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TheQuoteJet and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption — arising out of or related to your use of the Services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total cumulative liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Services shall not exceed the greater of (a) $100 or (b) the amount you paid to TheQuoteJet in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TheQuoteJet and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
9Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Services shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Hillsborough County, Florida.
Before filing any claim, you agree to attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us in writing at the address below. If we cannot resolve the dispute within 30 days, either party may pursue formal remedies.
10Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, all provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive — including ownership provisions, disclaimers, indemnification, and limitations of liability.
11Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will post the updated Terms on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on our website. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
